CHINA HARMONY OF COLOURS

Annette Morheng’s focus is directed primarily outside of the great cities to the variety and pristine beauty of the countryside, the diversity of ethnic groups, and a culture where ancient craftsmanship and traditions still live today. In the cities, she observes the rapid pace of change and works to rescue the ancient hutongs, communities where time seems to stand still, places that now seem almost like foreign bodies on the edge of the metropolis.
